How much is delivery?
SmallThe best things come in small packages so for all our small home accessories, such as mirrors, soft furnishings, art and lighting, we only charge a small delivery fee of £9. Delivered to your doorstep by courier.
MediumFor mid-size items, such as our footstools, storage units, and pet beds, we charge a small-ish delivery fee of £50. Once your order has been meticulously handcrafted, our friendly team of drivers will carefully deliver it to your door, then unpack, assemble in the room of your choice, and even steam it if required, leaving it looking irresistibly luxurious.
LargePremium pieces deserve premium delivery, which is why we offer white glove service for all our handmade-to-order sofa, bed, armchair and dining designs for £119. Once your order has been meticulously handcrafted, our friendly team of drivers will carefully deliver it to your door, then unpack, assemble in the room of your choice, and even steam it if required, leaving it looking irresistibly luxurious.
We certainly do! For small home accessories such as candles and scatter cushions, we offer a courier service to ROI for a fee of €29. For our handmade-to-order furniture, we offer a white glove delivery service to ROI where our friendly Irish delivery partner will carefully deliver your specially handcrafted piece to your door, then unpack, assemble in the room of your choice, and even steam it if required, for a fee of €249.
Do you deliver to the Republic of Ireland?
All your stunning sofa.com pieces will be shipped together once everything is ready to go! You will only be charged the delivery fee for your largest item.
Ordered multiple items?
Unfortunately, we do not deliver to the Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Scilly, Isle of Man, Kirkwall, Isle of Skye, any other Isles across Scotland, Shetland & Orkney Islands, and any Isles across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We also currently do not deliver to Europe or to any international countries.
Do you deliver outside of mainland UK?
However, we will happily arrange for your items to be delivered to a nominated UK port for you to arrange your own onwards shipping and delivery. To arrange delivery to a nominated UK port, please get in touch with our friendly team on firstname.lastname@example.org, who will be able to place your order and go through the full process with you. The cost of delivery to your UK port of choice will be in line with the above delivery charges, depending on what you are ordering and where your port of choice is located.
At sofa.com, we’re committed to shaping each part of our business to be as responsible as we can and minimise our impact on the planet. That’s why, if you need to make room for your lovely new sofa, we offer a service to recycle it for you.
Recycling your old furniture
For £99, we will happily arrange for our delivery team to take away your existing sofa and recycle it, so that your new purchase will fit perfectly in your chosen space. Simply let our sales team know when you place your order.
We have limited space on our vans, so we’ll only be able to take away the same number of pieces as we have delivered and they must be the same size or smaller. Please note, our delivery team reserves the right not to remove or dismantle your existing sofa, chair or bed if they believe it is unsafe to do so for any reason.

If, for whatever reason, you wish to amend or cancel your order up to 7 days after placing your order we will do so for no fee, no questions asked.
Changed your mind about your order?
Any changes to your order after 7 days will incur a 5% amendment fee per item amended. Any orders that are cancelled in full after 7 days will incur a 5% cancellation fee on the total value of your order. Please note, any amendments to part of your order will reset the delivery lead time to your whole order, if applicable.
We’re sure you’ll absolutely love your new item, but if you are not 100% happy with your purchase we will be happy to provide a refund or exchange. You will need to contact us within 14 days of your delivery date, so we can process a refund or exchange for you. We simply require that your item is returned in the same condition it was as when it was delivered. Please make sure to read our policy on returns and exchanges below…
Returns and exchanges
If you wish to return your order, including on the day of delivery, a restocking fee will be charged and deducted from your refund. The restocking fee will be £50 or 10% of the item being returned, whichever is the greater value. Please note, the original delivery fee will not be recompensated.
Want to return your sofa?
If you have ordered a modular design (corner sofas, chaise sofas, or any sofa which is produced and assembled in individual units), please be aware this can only be exchanged for store credit. There will be a restocking fee of £50 or 10% of the item being returned, whichever is the greater value, which will be deducted from the store credit total.
Any items with bespoke changes, including designer fabrics, cannot be returned. If you’d like more information about our returns policy and charges, you can read our terms & conditions here.
For times when your item isn’t quite perfect and another design from our sumptuous collection has caught your eye, we will happily exchange your order with no additional delivery costs. Easy! Our standard restocking fee will apply, which will be £50 or 10% of the item being returned, whichever is the greater value. This will be deducted when your exchange order is processed, and any outstanding balance will need to be settled before we can deliver your new order. Please note, the original delivery fee will not be recompensated.
